Box modeling

Boxmodeling in LspCAD 6 can be done together with the crossover modeling, this makes it possible to completely model the subwoofer and use measured data for the midrange treble unit.
The example below displays the schema for an active 6th order bass reflex loudspeaker. The loudspeaker box is made of various components from the component tray. The most common box types are available as templates but it is possible to model other, more exotic boxes.

Note the dotted boxes, they represent component groups, in this particular case both have Wizard functionality, in the HP filter case the wizard can compute component values based on the desired cutoff frequency and Q value. For the bassreflex box case the wizard computes appropriate box volume and port tuning based on the TS paramters of the loudspeaker unit and the desired alignment.
